Art Deco

Given how much I like Art Deco, it is surprising that I haven’t tried something like this before. Well in fact I did try something like this a few days ago using paint, but I currently lack either the skill or the technique to get the lines anywhere near straight enough. On the other hand, vector graphics apps excel at straight lines and graceful curves so that is what I have used here.

Given the suitability of the medium, any design like this is limited only by my imagination, patience and attention to detail. All three can be a challenge of course, but I am happy that this design has succeeded as I hoped that it would. In fact it was so enjoyable to create that there might well soon be more on the way …
